Dingle peninsula is probably less popular than the Ring of Kerry but it is a fascinating part of the world offering outstanding walks and wonderful evening views out over the last edge of land to the Atlantic. Here Irish is still spoken as a first language by most of the people and the area is full of interesting antiquities, historic sites and varied mountain scenery than any other part of Ireland.
Dingle is a characteristic lovely town in the centre of Dingle peninsula west coast. There are many Irish traditional Pubs and Restaurants serving great food and local fish. Here lives Fungie the dolphin. Boat trips leave Dingle pier during the day to see Fungi and to swim with him (wetsuit available).
